Capri’s hair has grown so long that I can now do all kinds of things with it!  My favorite of course being pigtails.  When I first did it, I sort of wanted to cry because her cuteness factor was about to explode.

It also made me a little sad to think that this isn’t my little baby girl anymore.  She’s talkin’, walkin’ and has long hair that needs to be tamed!  Capri loves to look through old photos and her and I did a little slideshow in my Iphoto library and we saw all of her old baby photos.  I watched her look at herself as a baby and I just couldn’t believe how much she has grown and changed.  How fast its gone by.  There have been lots of pregnant women and new babies around me lately, and I just can’t believe I’ve already got almost a year and a half of experience as a Mommy.

Although I love dressing her up, and doing her hair, it’s a little hard for me to swallow because as soon as those hair ties go in her hair, she turns into a toddler, and I take a moment and think to myself “I can’t believe she’s this old already”.

Ya know what though?  I feel like I have taken the advice so many other mommies gave me- and I’ve enjoyed every stage and I am enjoying this one and I don’t wish to go back in time, or freeze time so she stays this way forever.  I love being able to watch the adorable little girl she is growing in to.
